City of Greenville – The City of Greenville created its Economic Development Corporation in 2024 to implement its Economic Development Strategic Plan. The plan encourages cities to collaborate with nearby colleges and universities to attract talent and create a college to career pipeline and ensure all Greenville residents and enterprises can thrive, making diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) an economic development goal.
